"Hate" / Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara (1967)

Last week, comedian and actor Jerry Stiller passed away. Many know him as George's father on Seinfeld, but long before, he and his wife of over 60 years, Anne Meara, were a successful comedy team. Today's listening recommendation:

"Hate" / Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara (recorded in 1967)

Does anyone have a listening recommendation for me?

Dagmar Krause | Tank Battles (1988) = a cross between Les Mis and Lili Von Schtupp in Blazing Saddles

Okay, I guess that's a mean comparison, but I did keep picturing Madeline Kahn singing "I'm Tired" in the music hall scene. I couldn't find the Krause album, but there is a recording (in 3 parts) on You Tube.

0:00 - 1 - the song of the whitewash 2:07 - 2 - (i read about) tank battles 3:38 - 3 - you have to pay 5:21 - 4 - chanson allemande 6:42 - 5 - the ballad of the sackslingers 10:06 - 6 - mother beimlein 11:23 - 7 - the perhaps song 13:13 - 8 - lied von der belebenden wirkung des geldes 17:46 - 9 - mankind 18:45 - 10 - bettellied 20:13 - 11 - song of a german mother 22:45 - 12 - change the world - it needs it
