This won't affect many viewers as you are already seeing my photos when they are shared to Facebook, 500 pix, Flickr, Tumblr, Instagram, or Twitter. But, for the relatively few who get updates via my RSS feed, read on.
In the past, due to a limitation of my site's host Squarespace, I was posting my photos twice: once in the appropriate photo gallery and once again on the blog home page. I preferred only having the photos in the gallery, but needed to put them on the blog home page as well if I wanted to use some of the site's sharing features. I recently developed different sharing techniques to work for all services except the RSS feed. It remained a thorn in my side. By default, the RSS feed is only updated from the blog home page. That ends today.
RSS subscribers should update their feed reader to the new RSS feed at http://feeds.feedburner.com/farrago510. This feed will update no matter where on my site the posting is made. The previous feed address http://www.farrago510.com/?format=rss will still "work", but it will only update for blog home page posts. Each month or so, I will make a blog post summarizing new photos on the site.
So, if you read this and you're scratching your head wondering what the hell I'm talking about, I DID TELL YOU that you only needed to continue reading if you are an RSS subscriber. Seriously, though, let me know if you have questions.
